How It’s Beneficial for Children with Special Needs

In specialized schools and classrooms

the equipment from the Active Sensory Room Bundle is used for therapy for children with various conditions such as autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and more. The Climbing Wall and Mobile Floor provide a safe environment for sensory exercises and motor training. Teachers and specialists can adjust tasks according to each child’s developmental level.

In classrooms

the Active Sensory Room Bundle is used to support children with special needs, as well as to promote overall sensory and motor development for all children. With its universal design, these elements can be used by everyone, reducing stigmatization and fostering social integration.

Research has shown

that sensory stimulation through active activities like climbing helps develop motor coordination, improve balance, and enhance spatial awareness (Ayres, 2005). For example, when using the Climbing Wall, children not only develop physical skills (motor coordination and strength) but also cognitive skills such as movement planning and spatial orientation, aiding in better adaptation to their environment (Stanley & Burpee, 2017).

The use of the Mobile Interactive Floor engages visual and motor sensory systems. It often includes interactive game projections that stimulate attention and motor skills. For instance, children can respond to visual cues by stepping or touching specific areas on the floor, improving focus and coordination.

Product Features

The Active Sensory Room Bundle, which includes the Climbing Wall and Mobile Floor, offers a unique sensory solution for children with special needs, promoting sensory integration, motor skills, and cognitive development. Climbing on the wall helps children improve coordination, balance, and spatial perception, while the interactive floor with projections enhances focus, motor skills, and social interaction through games. The uniqueness of this bundle lies in its versatility: it is effective both in specialized classrooms for therapeutic purposes and in inclusive schools, creating equal opportunities for all students.
